Every year, on the feast of the Epiphany (January 6th) and thereafter, the priests of the Chaplaincy impart the Epiphany Blessing on parishioner’s homes. Please note: Due to the number of homes we bless, we are unable to bless homes of people who do not attend the Chaplaincy's Latin Masses.
The Latin ceremony includes going throughout the home with Holy Water and Blessed Incense; Blessed chalk is also used to inscribe the initials of the Magi upon the entrance(s) of the home, invoking the intercession of the Magi, Saints Gaspar, Melchior, and Baltassar, for the health of body and protection of soul of all who live there.
